The Office of Institutional Advancement is responsible for all activities undertaken by the institution to develop understanding and support among its various students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, and friends. These activities include fund development, marketing, communications (publications and public affairs), and alumni relations.

Public relations team recognized with PRSA awards
Members of Loyola’s Office of Public Affairs and External Relations were recognized at the recent Public Relations Society of America awards ceremony November 10, 2011.
Thomas Hall opens doors to the community
The university held a blessing ceremony Tuesday afternoon and dedicated the new Whitney Bank Presentation Room, the building’s former chapel which was renamed in honor of the bank which donated $500,000 to the project.
DC Alumni Chapter hosts Chris Rose at Newseum
The Washington DC Chapter and the Newseum presented an "Inside Media" discussion with DC native and former Times-Picayune columnist Chris Rose.
