Short Bio

Bart Folse assists the Senior Development Officer and the Law Alumni and Annual Giving Officer for the College of Law.

Prior to his coming to Loyola in January 2008, Bart Folse was on the faculties of the Manhattan School of Music, Mannes College of Music and Eugene Lang College of The New School University in New York City; he  served as Music Director/Conductor of a number of ensembles, including Opera Quotannis, Pro Arte Chorale New Jersey, Great Neck Choral Society, Cantori New York and the Paulist Choristers at the Church of St. Paul the Apostle at Lincoln Center; and, from 1998-2001, he served as Associate Conductor of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and Conductor of the Singapore Symphony Chorus.

His volunteer activities include serving as a Youth Development Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco in 2003-2004, singing with the New Orleans Vocal Arts Chorale, singing and serving on the Board of Directors of Symphony Chorus of New Orleans, and representing the College of Music and Fine Arts on the Alumni Board of Loyola University New Orleans.
