Robert Gross joined the fund-raising staff of Loyola University New Orleans as Director of Planned Giving in 1995. Previously, he practiced law in Louisiana with the firm of Herman, Herman, Katz and Cotlar, and also with firms in New York and Florida. He is a professional musician and has managed symphony orchestras in Colorado, Florida, Arizona and Louisiana.
Mr. Gross has over 30 years experience in nonprofit management and fund-raising. While at Loyola, he has concentrated on planned giving and the structuring and administration of planned gifts with donors and their advisors. A founding member and past president of the Greater New Orleans Planned Giving Council (NCPG), he is also a member of the New Orleans Estate Planning Council. He has talked on the subject of planned giving at Loyola’s Estate Planning Conference, the Association of Fundraising Executives and many non-profit organizations.
Mr. Gross moved to New Orleans with his family in 1985 and resides in the uptown area.
