The Washington DC Chapter and the Newseum presented an "Inside Media" discussion with DC native and former Times-Picayune columnist Chris Rose, who focused on media coverage during and after Hurricane Katrina. Rose, a former New Orleans Times Picayune columnist and author of 1 Dead in Attic, lead the discussion and offered his unique point of view on the role the media played in covering our country's most destructive natural disaster. The discussion was followed by a reception and tour of the Katrina Exhibit. The event had a fantastic crowd of approximately 65 attendees.
