As part of the Marketing and Communications team, working within Account Services, Angela Vachetta Turnbull is responsible for the successful planning of events initiated by and assigned to the Office of Marketing and Communications. She plans and manages events for donors, alumni, faculty, students, parents, and members of the community. Major annual events include Commencement Week activities and the President’s Guest Series, as well as ceremonies of campus-wide significance such as groundbreakings, dedications, important anniversaries and commemorations.
Turnbull joined the Loyola family in 1999 and has over 30 years of experience in not-for-profit public relations and event planning, having previously worked as community relations and event coordinator for the Louisiana State Museum and the New Orleans Symphony Orchestra.
She is a member of the International Live Events Association.
