Bio

Lillian Funke is a practicing Certified Nurse Midwife. She received her MSN in Nurse-Midwifery and her BSN from Columbia University in the City of New York. Prior to beginning her career in Nurse-Midwifery, he received a MPH from Tulane University, a BS from Vanderbilt University and worked as a public health epidemiologist. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) at Johns Hopkins University in Health Policy. Professor Funke practices clinically, providing full-scope midwifery care at a hospital-based birth center and in New Orleans. She joined Loyola in 2024.
